Well, other than the image summing up accepting the goof I made on Haushinka's incomplete eyelashes for my birthday drawing as I'm celebrating it, I think I am gonna be alright.

I have also posted the birthday drawing on Twitter/X (here) as a first in a long while (and maybe even for replies to posts) after the art-related scare back in November 2024.

I hope I can really relax a bit with art before I resume.

Yeah, even when the last four months since the November news post, I have been feeling all over the place. I still have not warmed back up to doing public uploads of my artworks (even as replies to posts) on Twitter/X again; even when I'm currently having Newgrounds as the first place I publicly upload my art at before other places.

Oh yeah, from seeing Newgrounds and users currently celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year, I admit to still feeling a mix of inadequacy and guilt of not being her much, or deserving to being here, ever since I created this account on March 4, 2009 and gradually not be very active on here from creators I follow migrating to other platforms. Even then, I do not want to ruin the festivities while hoping the 30th Anniversary celebration and the site keeps going well among the mix of the current and older generations of users and creators.

Anyway, I think I was able to get some stuck in my mind for a long while (and I really have to work on my sleep times; especially the late-nights I've been having). In the meanwhile, here's a shenanigans image featuring a PSO2 New Genesis screencap I took, the Haushinka chibi doodle I finished last night and a slightly-fixed version (mainly the "thumbs up" arm) of the "Newgrounds" Rina-chan sadcatte chibi doodle to sort of sum up the metaphorical roller coaster I'm (still) on.

Well, things really have gotten hectic since last month. And with recent stuff that generally happened in the past few days on Twitter/X, I think I better get to it with having Newgrounds as my main place for art and interactions; with Bluesky and pixiv as other places.

For both my first Twitter/X account I made 15 years ago and the "middleground" Twitter/X account I made last year, I have decided yesterday afternoon and nearing midnight to delete whatever public uploads (keyword is "public") through posts and replies I could of artworks I made and art I received and made by others through fanart, gifts, art trades, collab/crossover art, raffles and QnAs. Even when I and some others deleting posts or accounts entirely from the panic and being informed of the situation occurring from fearmongering, I am just so hurt and insulted by the situation to do public uploads of the aforementioned stuff for there anymore. Though I am having to start over with art sharing through there with external links from here, Bluesky and Pixiv. Which will be tough (especially with spambot and scam accounts still running around there) but hoping things will be better.

Other than the change made to how blocking works on Twitter/X (blocked users able to see posts and replies of people who blocked them in exchange for being unable to ever interact with them), I'm keeping both of my Twitter/X accounts up especially for contacting and interacting with folks who have the site/app as their main/primary or only means of contact and interaction with others.

I really do have a lot of projects in mind as trying to hang in there, even when I'm going through a low point again, and metaphorically "keep fighting the good fight", I hope to be able to share and express more ideas and have fun with it and life.

Oh yeah, I have been putting in time for an OC idea, even in PSO2, that has her origins involving "late-2000's" and "early-2010's" Newgrounds. Her name is Haushinka and I hope she will be an OC I will have fun art ideas and projects going, and to share with others, after the current drawing and her early appearance in the "QT/Fren" themed birthday giftart I did in-between.

Especially her interactions with "Newgrounds" Rina-chan and "Newgrounds" Hnilmik (I am brainstorming ideas about them too). :3

I can't believe I struggle on a full body drawing of Gray for a while and currently being stuck on a step for a week now because of shoes.

Or how I've been trying so hard to do a distinguished but streamlined redesign of Gray since 2021 and still hurt by being told to stop because of stuff like "overworking my lines" and "the posing is too stiff" for something like a reference sheet.

Dang, it's already mid-June and just ended up struggling with pushing out art, especially ones that I would find fun to want to work on.

Then April ended up adding to the struggle, even to when I ended up feeling sad on my birthday, from being on the receiving end of people abusing "sensitivity language" killing part of my enthusiasm and had difficulty generally interacting since then.

Wow, even after the "Tumblrpocalypse of 2018" I really have been very hit-and-miss with this place. Especially with art-posting while trying to not get weighed down by the regret of not having shared any art even back in 2012...or any point after creating this account in 2009 out of curiosity for wanting to see the source of flash animations for better quality than the YouTube reuploads (without credit and/or permission) back in those days.

I may not have done much on Newgrounds beyond being a consumer back in the late-2000's and early-2010's added to my severe confidence issues but hopefully the 2020's would be different in mainly a good way in both skill and enjoyment in doing illustrations and maybe comics and animations.

TL;DR: Sparsely used Newgrounds before and after the "Tumblrpocalypse of 2018" I hope I can be more active on here again with art (both SFW and NSFW) and hoping I can even have confidence to also do comics and, especially, animations.

P.S. I also hope I can one day pay for Supporter membership partially to update my username to the "OniRayoh1991" alias I've been using because I still want to keep this account I had since 2009 of creators and content I enjoy and stuff I create, warts-and-all, and keep hanging in there and moving forward. :'>

Oh boy, it has been over a year since I was last on here. Unfortunately, it was the result of what's been happening with tumblr in recent weeks. :c
I'm gonna see what I can post here because, "The Newgrounds War" (late-2000's to early-2010's) and its aftermath. Which the conflict over original and parody stuff was very off-putting and uninviting to post drawings or even try to get into animation. As the years went by from the aftermath, I slowly started to be less active. It was also because of people I follow on here moved onto different social sites and/or become less active on here.

Anyway, it's good to be back and hope you folks can enjoy old and new stuff from me. :>
Plus, it's nice to see/hear about people I follow or friends with being on here, along with people who were on here. ;>
